To become a member of one of the provincial organizations of CAHPI, an inspector must meet rigorous professional and educational requirements.
The Canadian Association of Home & Property Inspectors (CAHPI) has established the most widely recognized standard of quality for home inspections nationwide.
There are seven provincial/regional associations which govern the membership within their own province. Once you achieve your Registered Home Inspector (RHI) designation you will benefit from the years of promotion of the association to the real estate related professions. CAHPI is considered the voice of Canada's "home inspection industry".
2012 marked our 30th anniversary, the Canadian Association of Home Inspectors (CAHI) was formed in 1982 to establish, enhance and promote the professional image of home inspectors throughout Canada. And today, we are recognized by Canadian home buyers and the real estate related industry as the professionals.
