CAHPI welcomes all National Certificate Holders® from across Canada to join CAHPI.

Your certificate is transferable, simply complete the membership form.

For new inspectors the National Certification process includes:

  • Achieve a passing score for the CAHPI National Exam (CNE)
  • Completion of 10 mentored inspections
  • Report verification by mentor

Upgrade to CAHPI RHI® Designation

If you are a CAHPI National Certificate Holder (NCH)®, consider upgrading to the highest National Designation for home inspectors in Canada - REGISTERED HOME INSPECTOR (RHI)

Following is the step-by-step process for the RHI® Upgrade….

  1. Have a City Commissionaire, Notary or other professional complete and stamp the attached RHI® affidavit
  2. Attach a list of 250 inspections (for privacy include only date and address – no personal information)
  3. Submit a recent report for Report Verification
  4. Return the signed RHI® affidavit and list of 250 inspections to
  5. Log into the CAHPI member dashboard and click icon ‘Upgrade Membership’
  6. Click the application form Upgrade to RHI®
  7. Complete the RHI® Upgrade form and submit one-time payment of $254.25 (tax incl.)
