Drones and Homes: An introduction to drones and their applications in home inspections (1 MRCs)

We will discuss the state of the industry of using remotely piloted aircraft systems to fly in and around homes, reducing the need for high-angle, and high-risk human operations. The process for getting certified and choosing the right drone will be covered, where you can fly, and where you can't fly.

Presented by: Ian Wills - Ian represents Canada's #1 drone training organization, Coastal Drone Co. Coming from a decade in the Commercial Helicopter industry as a pilot, operations coordinator, and business development representative, and prior to that a decade in Information Technology and Systems Administration, Ian brings his enthusiasm, education, and experience in Commercial Aviation now to the drone industry. Ian leads operations and innovation as President at Coastal Drone Co. and looks forward to the exciting growth of the drone industry as new regulations offer more permissive activities such as BVLOS, eVTOL and heavier drone delivery operations. As a product of a family of educators, Ian demonstrates a passion for continuous skill development through personal growth and sharing that knowledge with others.
